How Punch Pizza Began
Punch Pizza was born from a simple but powerful idea: that a truly great pizza could change your entire day. Founded in 2010 by John and Maria Kowalski in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, our punch pizza concept started as a weekend pop-up at local farmers' markets — wood-fired, hand-stretched, ingredient-obsessed.
Word spread quickly. Neighbors, friends, and strangers couldn't get enough of our Neapolitan-style dough, house-made sauces, and the unmistakable "punch" of bold, balanced flavors in every bite. What started as a passion project became Eden Prairie's most talked-about artisan pizza destination.
Today, Punch Pizza operates from our flagship location at Crystal View Rd, serving hundreds of happy guests daily while staying true to our roots — fresh ingredients, hand-crafted technique, and a genuine love for feeding people well.

The First Slice
John and Maria Kowalski fire up their first wood-burning oven and begin selling artisan punch pizza at Eden Prairie Farmers' Market. The response was beyond anything they imagined.
Our First Location Opens
After two years of farmers' market success, Punch Pizza opens its brick-and-mortar location on Crystal View Rd, Eden Prairie. A full house on opening night confirms we're here to stay.
